Three-starred chef, at the helm of Mirazur, Mauro Colagreco is taking advantage of the confinement to unveil recipes for two healthy drinks.
Mauro Colagreco’s detox juice
Ingredients
Serves 2
-1 Granny Smith apple
-3 oranges
-½ cucumber
-1/3 celery stick
-2 spinach leaves
-1 sprig of parsley
-1 small piece of ginger (thumb-sized)
Preparation
Remove the skin from the ginger. Squeeze the orange. Cut the apple and cucumber into small cubes. Put the orange juice with the diced apple and cucumber and the other ingredients into a blender. Blend everything together and strain through a strainer to obtain a smoother texture. Serve in a glass and add 2 ice cubes.
Mauro Colagreco’s herbal infusion
Makes 1l
Ingredients
-1l water
-7g hibiscus
-3 sprigs of mint (or 10 to 12 leaves) or 2 pinches of dried mint
-3 nettle leaves or 2 pinches of nettle flakes (easier to find in a supermarket)
-1 tbsp honey
Preparation
Bring the water to the boil (100°C). Cut the sprigs of mint in half and then clap them in your hands (this will help to bring out the aromas more quickly during the infusion and avoid the drink becoming too bitter). Put in the teapot the spoon of honey, the nettle leaves and the hibiscus, as well as the mint, then pour hot water over them. (Make sure to put the elements in this order). Leave to infuse for 7 minutes and serve.
